Classification of safety performance of lithium iron phosphate batteries

1. Resistance to heavy impact. Battery packs shall be tested in accordance with regulations and shall not ignite or explode.

2. Resistance to thermal shock. Battery packs shall be tested in accordance with regulations and shall not ignite or explode.

3. Anti-overcharge. Battery modules shall be tested in accordance with the regulations and shall not fire or explode.

4. Overdischarge resistance. Battery modules shall be tested in accordance with the regulations and shall not fire or explode.

5. Short circuit resistance. Battery modules shall be tested in accordance with the regulations and shall not fire or explode.

6. Anti-puncture. Battery packs shall be tested in accordance with regulations and shall not ignite or explode.

7. Extrusion resistance. Battery modules shall be tested in accordance with the regulations and shall not fire or explode.

8. High temperature storage. The cores shall be tested according to the regulations and shall not leak, smoke, fire or explosion.

9. Anti-heating. The battery module is tested according to the regulations. No part of the explosive battery penetrates the screen, and no part or all of the battery protrudes the screen.

10. Anti-low pressure. Battery packs shall be tested according to regulations without leakage, smoke, fire or explosion.

11. Constant humidity and heat. After the battery pack is tested according to the regulations, its appearance shall be free from obvious deformation, rust, smoke or explosion, and its capacity shall not be less than 90% of the rated value.

12. Anti-collision. The battery pack shall be tested according to the regulations, and its appearance shall be free from obvious damage, leakage, smoke or explosion, and can work normally.

13. Anti-vibration. The battery pack shall be tested according to the regulations, and its appearance shall be free from obvious damage, leakage, smoke or explosion, and can work normally.

14. Temperature cycle. The battery pack shall be tested according to 6.6.15, and shall not leak, smoke, fire or explosion; the appearance of the battery pack shall not be broken, there shall be no mass loss, and the capacity shall not be less than 70% of the initial state.

15. Insulation resistance. For metal-enclosed batteries, the insulation resistance of the positive and negative interface of the batteries to the metal-enclosed batteries is not less than 2MW.

16. Flame retardancy. For batteries with plastic enclosures and protective covers, the enclosures shall be tested in accordance with 6.6.16. The enclosures shall meet the requirements of Article 8.3.2 FH-1 (horizontal level) and Article 9.3.2 FV-0 (vertical level) in GB/T 2408-2008.
