How to Analyse the Composition of Industrial Oxalic Acid Complexes

Industrial oxalic acid has a variety of ion composition. To verify the quality, concentration and composition of oxalic acid before use or experiment, the composition of its complexes can be measured by the following methods:

1. Determination of iron ions: After adding zinc powder to each solution and shaking with dilute sulfuric acid for several minutes, excessive zinc powder is removed by filtration and the filter paper is carried out in another conical bottle. 3. Determination of oxalate radical: accurately weigh potassium ferrite trioxalate green crystal in beaker, add dilute sulfuric acid, dilute to scale shake. Remove the industrial oxalic acid test solution in a conical bottle, add dilute sulfuric acid, and heat it for a few minutes. The potassium permanganate standard solution titrates to the solution in a light pink color, and the end point is half a minute without fading. After each titration, the solution is retained.
